Webinar | Fraud Awareness: Protect Yourself and Your Business with NatWest

Fraud Awareness webinar

What happens when you return from annual leave, log back in, and everything looks… normal?

Join our interactive webinar with John Allcock, Fraud Awareness Analyst at NatWest, as he guides us through the first day back at work of Sam, a fictional employee returning from time away. As Sam works through emails, messages, and payment requests, they encounter a series of everyday situations that many employees face – each carrying hidden cyber and fraud risks.

Using this relatable, story‑led approach, John brings to life how criminals exploit routine activity, trust, urgency, and distraction.

Topics covered include:

  1. Password security
  2. Out-of-office messages and digital footprint
  3. Sharing login details
  4. Internal and supplier payment requests
  5. Malware and ransomware
  6. Smishing (fraudulent text messages)
  7. Bank impersonation phone calls
  8. AI voice cloning demonstration

The session highlights how small, well‑intentioned actions can quickly lead to serious consequences if risks go unnoticed.
